Conferences
The Stronghold Staff brings over 44 years of experience to conference planning. We have hosted the SDABBE (South Dakota Association of Bilingual Bicultural Education ) Conference, The Lakota Nations Education Conference, The Strengthening Parent Skills Workshop, A Drug and Alcohol Conference ,and The NIISA, (National Indian Impacted Schools Association) Conference. Some of the notable conferences that the Stronghold Education Development staff continue to host each year are listed below.
Lakota Nations Education ConferenceLakota Nations Education Conference has been offering current information to educators and parents for over 44 years. It is held at the same time as the Lakota Nations Invitational Basketball tournaments. The conference is held at the Ramkota Inn in Rapid City, South Dakota in mid December. This conference offers the latest information for educators in all academic areas and presentations dealing with the "whole child". The first day of the conference deals with Health Issues for students.

NAPIA-Native American Parents In Action ConferenceThe NAPIA Conference focuses on educating parents in a variety of different areas. Homework, Discipline the Lakota way, Connecting with your child"s school, Life Skills coaching, and "What is my child learning now?"

Stronghold staff has over 38 years of successful grant writing experience. Grant locating services are also available to help you find the funding that will meet your needs.
Evaluations
The Stronghold staff has over 38 years of experience doing evaluations of Federal/State education programs. We can assist you with any of your evaluation needs.
Research
We pride ourselves in the ability to research information for educational facilities. Whether it be curriculum, transportation, maintenance, facility, or staff, Stronghold can help you find a solution.
Support
Our staff offers support for all educational facilities. Stronghold staff will meet with you and offer support and guidance to assist you in developing an action plan that will give you a clear direction for your program.
Philanthropy
The Stronghold Education Development team strives each and every day to improve the lives of our youth, and equip them for a successful future. To this end, we strongly believe in supporting our youth not just in the classroom, but in all of those endeavors which will shape them into the leaders of tomorrow. The needs are many and varied, but a few examples of things we have provided are:

Stronghold is committed to providing these things as we are able, but with your help we can move up our timeline and provide even more support to our youth. Interested parties that contribute to our work will receive a packet with an itemized listing of where their money went with accompanying receipts (where applicable), pictures of any items purchased, a description of the need(s) their contribution helped meet, and a thank you letter from the youth(s) and/or Stronghold staff.

- Equipment for Rodeo School
- Equipment for Basketball, Football, and Archery
- Supplies for the construction of traditional native attire for Pow Wows
Some of the needs we have identified that we want to provide:
- Education Scholarships
- Entry fees for various activities (Rodeos, etc.)
- Youth camps for Dealing with Trauma, Bullying Prevention, Suicide Prevention and Support Resources, and Various Sports
